The Rockland AOH County Board will again be running a bus down to the Parade in NYC on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. The Bus will leave at 11:00 a.m. from the Irish Cultural Center in Blauvelt. There is no cost for the bus, though traditionally a collection is taken to tip the bus driver on our return. The only requirement is the expectation that you will march with Rockland County. For those people who work in the city, we gather at the historic Roosevelt Hotel at E 45th Street & Madison Avenue, New York NY 10017, what better way to use that half a vacation or personal day that you have and may be expiring? Prior to Marching our own Edward V. Larkin Pipe band does a show in the lobby that is not to missed.
This is a day to celebrate our faith, heritage, culture and remember all those Irish men and women who did so much to build and defend America. Please honor the day and them by dressing appropriately.
