The New York St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is once again sponsoring a research paper contest for both High School and College Students. By way of the County AOH Parade affiliation, family members (son, daughter, spouse, brother, sister, niece, nephew, grandchild, grandniece, grandnephew, and great grandchild.) of Rockland County AOH Members are eligible to enter.
The Francis P. Beirne Scholarship is for current College Students. The first, second, and third place winners will receive individual prizes of $2,500, $1,500, and $1,000, The Margaret O’Rourke Scholarship is for current High School Students and offers awards of $1,200, $800, and $500.
