SUMMARY:53rd Rockland County St. Patrick's Day Parade Mass and Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:Since 1963\, the Rockland County Ancient Order of Hibernians St. Patrick’s Day Parade has celebrated St. Patrick the patron Saint of Ireland and the invaluable contributions that Irish-Americans have made to America. Considered by many to be second largest St. Patrick’s Parade in the New York after the great New York City parade\, the parade regularly draws as many as 50\,000 spectators. The parade will be held on Sunday March 22nd. \nThe day will start with 9:00 am Mass\, to be celebrated at Dominican Convent\, located at 175 Route 340\, Sparkill\, N.Y..  Breakfast shall follow immediately afterwards at the Pearl River Hilton\, located on 500 Veterans Memorial Drive\, Pearl River\, New York  honoring the Grand Marshal Vincent Tyer and his aides.  Tickets may be purchased for $30.00 per person (Children under 7 free) below or by  contacting Jim Russell\, Parade Mass and Breakfast Chair at 845-300-2930 or email: russe340@aol.com. At 1:30 pm the Parade will step off from the Pfizer (formerly Wyeth/Lederle)  parking lot off of Middeltown Road\, Pearl River NY.

DESCRIPTION:Each year the Emerald Ball kicks off the St. Patrick’s Day season here in Rockland County and once again\, Rockland’s Joint County Board of the Men’s and Ladies AOH would like to invite you to support this special event which also serves as the primary fundraiser for the 53rd Annual Rockland County St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The Emerald Ball is a night of celebration with great friends\, food and music. This year’s ball will be held on Saturday\, February 28\, 2015 at the Pearl River Hilton at 7pm. As always\, we will honor individuals who distinguish themselves through their actions and personify what our motto of “Friendship\, Unity & Christian Charity” truly means. Immediately following the mass\, a breakfast will be held at the Pearl River Hilton in Pearl River\, N.Y. honoring the Grand Marshal James McDonnell and his aides. Please mail your reservation and a check for $ 30 per person (Children under 7 free) (All Checks should be made payable to RCAOH) to Jim Russell\, Parade Mass & Breakfast Chairman\, 219 North Middletown Road\, Unit E\, Pearl River\, N.Y. 10965 by March 19\, 2014.
