SUMMARY:2019 Ceol Mor Festival and Registration
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that the Rockland County Ancient Order of Hibernians will be hosting our third annual Ceol Mór Festival which will include a pipe and drum competition on Saturday\, August 3\, 2019\, at the Rockland GAA fields in Orangeburg\, N.Y. We cordially invite you to join us for a complete day of competition with individual piping and drumming competition for players at all levels in the morning followed by band competitions for Grades 2–5 in the afternoon. Anyone who attended last year will testify to the beautiful facilities that we have the available courtesy of the Rockland GAA\, including access to their Air Condition clubhouse lounge.   Individual competitions will begin at 9:00AM followed by band competitions at 12:30PM. Competitions will conclude with the spectacle of a march by the massed bands. \nGreat food and refreshments will be available throughout the day under the GAA’s covered pavilion and there is a beautiful playground for the children. Admission is only $15.00 with children 12 and under free. \nCeol Mór is a festival run “by pipers\, for pipers.” This competition is sanctioned by E.U.S.P.B.A. We are always looking for more feedback from you on what we can do to make this competition as unique and as player-friendly as possible and welcome all ideas\, suggestions\, and comments. SUMMARY:Ceol Mor Music Festival\, World Class Piping and Irish Music
DESCRIPTION:On August 3rd\, the Rockland County AOH will be hosting its third annual Ceol Mor music festival featuring champion pipers and bands.  There will be performances by the Pearl River School of Irish Music and local Irish Musicians throughout the day.  We are again fortunate enough to be able to hold this is a unique venue\, the Rockland County GAA fields with access to their beautiful airconditioned club house. \nAt the conclusion of the Band Competition\, there will be the stirring spectacle of the mass bands to be followed by a concert by well known Irish Folk Band Nine Mile House. \nTickets are $15.00 for adults\, Children 12 and under free. \nCeol Mor Music Festival\, August 3\, 2019 at the Rockland GAA fields
